About

History

Heritage Lane Builders was started by Doug Dyck in 1987. The company was started as a residential / agriculture renovation company and continued on to become a trade as a new home/agri. builder. As the industry changed we branched into Custom and Spec. built homes which make up for the larger portion of our business today.

What we are all about:

We are a family based company with a variety of different gifting. Our hands on approach to each home is fully utilized by our in house capabilities. We offer interior layout, preliminary floor plans, interior & exterior design etc. For quality control from the get go our on site building team install the foundations and frame work for the large majority of the homes. For the balance of the construction we work with qualified local sub-trades. Our material is sourced locally, from long term suppliers, to keep the overhead and shipping cost low. Our management team consists of on site, and over all project management. We are currently working on our SECOR certification to comply with the safety standards in the building industry.

Our shared beliefs:

To function as a family run business it is integral that we place a high regard on relationships. We carry this same care into the building process to build solid homes and solid relationships with our customers, trades and suppliers. We place the integrity into each project no matter how large or small. Our history proves that we can do what we say. Any one can build a house. Few can build a home.

Flexible builder:

At Heritage Lane Builders we work in a number of flexible building processes. Some of our clients prefer to take on some of the building project themselves or with a qualified trade. We will manage these trades as part of the overall project. Should we function as a General Contractor or as your Management Team, we will ensure your interest by delivering the same quality every time.
